Updated Saints NFL Draft 2015 Picks

After trading away Jimmy Graham to the Seahawks and Ben Grubbs to the Chiefs during the first wave of NFL free agency this past week, the Saints now find themselves sitting on a healthy stockpile of draft selections. The Saints currently own eight - EIGHT! - picks in the upcoming 2015 NFL Draft.

For those keeping score at home, the team has not had that many picks in a single year since 2006, and that was by far the best draft class the Saints have had during the Sean Payton era. Hopefully that means good things ahead for our boys in black & gold. It's refreshing to see the Saints lean more toward the drafting philosophy of teams like the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. They must be listening to my advice on our podcast each week.
