NFL Draft Rankings 2015: Saints Top 5 Draft Prospects

We reveal the top 5 players of the 2015 NFL Draft on our New Orleans Saints Big Board and begin choosing players 6 through 10.

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

After two days of voting and a total of 235 votes, we now have the top five prospects for our Saints 2015 NFL Draft Big Board. Below are players 1 through 5, as chosen by Saints fans in the Canal Street Chronicles community.

Breakdown of votes for
each ranking interval.
Player Name 1 2 3 4 5 Total
Vic Beasley, OLB, Clemson 48 37 42 21 12 568
Leonard Williams, DE, USC 79 15 7 6 6 494
Dante Fowler, Jr., OLB, Florida 24 44 20 14 4 388
Alvin Dupree, DE, Kentucky 17 25 22 11 23 296
Amari Cooper, WR, Alabama 11 20 25 28 19 285

It's time to continue ranking individual draft prospects for the Saints and choose players to make up spots 6 through 10 on our Big Board. Below is a poll containing the next 25 draft prospects with the five players above removed. We'll vote again and come up with the next five for our Big Board. Those would be the next five players we would like to see the Saints draft, in a vacuum, regardless of the situation.

Take talent, value, need, and character into account if you think the Saints should take these things in to account when drafting. If you always want the best player available simply rank your top 5 players available.

Players will receive 5 points for every first place vote, 4 for every second place vote, and so on. They will receive 0 points if they are unranked. Total points from all ballots will be added, and the 5 players with the most points will be taken out of the pool of available players and put up on the big board.

This is not a mock draft. You are not predicting what you think will happen. You are not thinking about other teams or their needs. Don't worry about who is available. Assume everyone you can vote for is available. Just rank your guys in the order you would like to see them drafted by the Saints.

Please vote only once.

Once again, we are using a voting system created by Chris Pokorny from Dawgs By Nature to do all of this, so major props go to him for putting this awesome tool together.
