ROLL TIDE: If Alabama has a player selected in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, the Crimson Tide will tie Pittsburgh (1983-1989), Ohio State (1991-1997) and Florida (1997-2003) for the third-longest consecutive streak with at least one player drafted in the first round since the advent of the common draft in 1967. Alabama has a current streak of six consecutive drafts with at least one first round pick.

Miami (1995-2008) owns the longest such streak with at least one first-round pick in 14 consecutive drafts.

CATCHING CARDINAL: Louisville WR DE VANTE PARKER can become the first wide receiver from the University of Louisville to be drafted in the first round.

In the 2014 NFL Draft, three Louisville players - S CALVIN PRYOR, LB MARCUS SMITH and QB TEDDY BRIDGEWATER - were selected in the first round. It would mark the first time the school has had a player selected in the first round of back-to-back drafts.

HUSKIE HISTORY: Washington DT DANNY SHELTON can become the first Washington defensive lineman drafted in the first round since 1992, when STEVE EMTMAN was selected first overall by Indianapolis.

Shelton would become just the fifth defensive lineman drafted in the first round in school history. The previous four players were all selected in the top 10.

MR. IRRELEVANT: The Arizona Cardinals will have the honor of selecting this year's "Mr. Irrelevant" - a tongue-in-cheek title bestowed annually upon the last player chosen in the NFL Draft - with the 256th pick.

2015 marks the 40th year of the Mr. Irrelevant tradition.

Established in 1976 by PAUL SALATA, a former NFL player and Southern California businessman,IRRELEVANT WEEK is a weeklong celebration held annually in Newport Beach, CA, which celebrates the efforts of Mr. Irrelevant and raises funds for charity. Special Olympics Southern California was named as the 2015 charitable recipient. Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities.

In 2014, Irrelevant Week, Inc. expanded its efforts by becoming THE FOUNDATION FOR THE UNDEFEATED(www.theundefeated.org), a nonprofit dedicated to championing stories of perseverance in sports to inspire greatness in others.
