CSC Community Q&A with Saints CB Delvin Breaux

New Orleans native and Saints CB Delvin Breaux is taking questions from the CSC community.

USA TODAY Sports

Hey, Saints fans!

Former CFL Hamilton Tiger-Cats standout and current Saints cornerback Delvin Breaux has awesomely agreed to take some of our questions!

If you aren't already familiar with his incredible story, check out this video -

Per The Sports Network (TSN) -

In just two seasons, the six-foot-one, 196-pound Breaux established himself as one of the CFL's top cornerbacks. Not only was Breaux big enough to be a physical player but he also had the speed and tenacity to cover an opponent's top receiver by himself. That allowed the Ticats to double-team another pass catcher or blitz a linebacker safe in the knowledge that Breaux's area was locked down

The 25 year old Breaux tallied 62 tackles, a sack, 2 fumbles forced and a pick-6 in those 2 seasons in Hamilton - Frequently marooning the opposing team's #1 wide receiver, QBs seldom threw the ball to Breaux Island.

Per ESPN New Orleans Saints Reporter Mike Triplett -

Breaux was an all-star who was widely regarded among the best players in the league, and he had more than a dozen teams schedule workouts this offseason before the Saints persuaded him to sign during his visit last Friday. Murphy said he heard the Saints were very aggressive in making sure they landed Breaux before he went on any remaining workouts.

In addition to his height and physicality, DB is also a speedy DB, reportedly clocking a 4.38 40. Former NFL scout and current Montreal Alouettes College Scouting Director Russell Lande had high praise for Breaux -

With the addition of similarly physical CB Brandon Browner, the Saints now have two former CFL talents in their backfield. He'll need to compete for a spot at training camp this summer, but given his experience and abilities there's a lot to be excited about.

CSC community - Please write your comments/questions for Delvin below. After a couple days we'll send them over to him and report back with his responses. He's a busy man these days, so let's have only a few clown questions, Breaux.

Update - Thanks for participating everyone. Your questions have now been sent to Delvin.
