NFL Draft Results 2015: Best Available Players After Round 1

The Saints chose Stanford LT Andrus Peat at #13 and Clemson ILB Stephone Anthony at #31. For the Peat pick at first I was like wtf? And then I was like wtf? Do we use him in the vacancy created by Grubbs, or is Peat used at L/RT and Armstead/Strief assume guard duties? I see Strief sliding inside and Peat owning at RT. Either way, the commitment to the run remains evident, as does protecting Breesus. I like the Anthony pick. Dude's a boss.

The Saints have picks 2(44), 3(75), 3(78), 5(148), 5(154), 6(187) and 7(230) remaining.

In rounds 2 and 3 the Saints have picks #44 #75 and #78, in which they (should) pick Randy Gregory if he's just chillin' there. Alternatively, Jalen Collins, Owamagbe Odighizuwa, and Eli Harold are intriguing options at this position. Loomis expressed needing to address defense early and often - I hope the Saints commit accordingly.
