Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Da'Quan Bowers is scheduled to visit the Saints this week, according to ESPN 97.5 Houston radio host Jayson Braddock via a Twitter conversation with Lions beat writer Dive Birkett.
Visiting Saints this week RT @seenable: @davebirkett Anything on Da'Quan Bowers, who @JaysonBraddock says is down to Lions and Dolphins?

Bowers is 25-years-old and coming off his rookie contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Selected in the 2nd round in 2011, the 6'4" 288-pound DT/DE hybrid is oft-injured and was a disappointment in Tampa Bay. He was also suspended two games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
Not much to really get excited about here. There's a reason Bowers is still available at this point in the off-season.
