NFL Draft Grades for the 2015 Saints Draft Class

New, comments

This year I'm using a carefully calculated algorithm to come up with my final grade for the Saints 2015 NFL Draft class.

Now that the 2015 NFL Draft is in the books, it's time for media and fans alike to offer their too-early amateur opinion about how well each team drafted. Everyone is making this stuff up and nobody actually knows how good or bad these draft picks will look five years from now, making this entire process a joke.

Just to recap, here is your 2015 Saints NFL Draft class:

  • 13th Overall (Round 1) - Andrus Peat, OT, Stanford
  • 31st Overall (Round 1) - Stephone Anthony, ILB, Clemson
  • 44th Overall (Round 2) - Hau'oli Kikaha, OLB, Washington
  • 75th Overall (Round 3) - Garrett Grayson, QB, Colorado State
  • 78th Overall (Round 3) - P.J. Williams, CB. Florida State
  • 148th Overall (Round 5) - Davis Tull, OLB, Tennessee-Chattanooga
  • 154th Overall (Round 5) - Tyeler Davison, DT, Fresno State
  • 167th Overall (Round 5) - Damian Swann, CB, Georgia
  • 230th Overall (Round 7) - Marcus Murphy, RB, Missouri

So what grade would I give the Saints draft class this year? What is my humble opinion? Well, instead of an actual grade this year, I think my feelings can unequivocally be best summed up by this gif of the Saints fan we all saw on ESPN reacting to the Stephone Anthony pick. After all, a picture is worth 1,000 words...
