Saints Tackle Terron Armstead Ready for Breakout Season in 2015

It's not just Saints fans who think Terron Armstead is on the verge of great things in his third NFL season.

Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

Pete Prisco, everyone's favorite NFL columnist, recently revealed his list of top 20 breakout players for the 2015 season over on CBS Sports. I did a quick scan to check for any Saints players, and sure enough Prisco had left tackle Terron Armstead on his list.

Here is why Prisco thinks Armstead is ready for big things in 2015:

He settled in nicely as the starting left tackle last season, giving up only three sacks in 14 starts. Entering his third season, and second as a full-time starter, he should be better. He has great athletic ability, which will make him more effective in pass protection. He did miss the final two weeks of the 2014 season (neck injury).

I certainly can't disagree with anything Prisco says and I'm definitely hoping he's right. I don't know where first round draft pick Andrus Peat fits into all of this but for now I'd say it's Armstead's job to lose.

What do you guys think? Are you expecting big things from Armstead this year? Does the presence of Peat mean it's make or break for him in 2015?
