Dennis Allen on return to New Orleans Saints, working with Rob Ryan - New Orleans Saints Blog - ESPN
Many sources I’ve talked to about the Allen hire suggested he will have a "calming influence" on the defense and may help bring more structure -- whether during the work week, in Ryan’s expansive game plans or both. I don't believe Allen has been working with any specific position group yet, though his exact role has not been detailed.
