Saints Linebacker Junior Galette Has Pectoral Injury

A breaking report claims Junior has a pectoral injury and is considering surgery.

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

Junior Galette missed OTAs on Thursday and Mike Garafolo, of Fox Sports says it's a pectoral injury. Junior is said to be considering his options, including surgery. Juniors agent, Alvin Keels would not respond to inquires on the severity of the injury, but typically surgery would sideline Galette for 5 to 6 months.

Junior signed a 4 year, 41.5 million contract extension last season. He had 10 sacks in 2014, and 12 the season before. It may be up to the recently signed rookies  learn the meaning of the "Next Man Up" philosophy early.

I'll post any updates as they become available.
