New, comments

From The Advocate: The seventh-round running back is recovering from a minor ailment that was discovered when the rookies reported to team facilities last week and was placed on the non-football injury list. There is optimism that he could be back on the field early in training camp. Murphy is competing with Tim Hightower for a job behind C.J. Spiller, Mark Ingram and Khiry Robison at running back. He is also in the mix as a return man, where he is competing with the likes of Jalen Saunders.
