Saints vs. Ravens First Half Score Recap: Sloppy Saints Down 20-14

The Saints came out sloppy in the first quarter but things got a little better in the second quarter with a pair of touchdowns from Brandin Cook and Khiry Robinson.

It was a tale of two quarters for the New Orleans Saints in the first half of their preseason game against the Ravens.

Nothing went right for the Saints in the first quarter. The offense couldn't get a first down and the defense let Baltimore move down field at will. To add injury to insult,  Dannell Ellerbe, Brandon Browner, and Delvin Breaux all went to the locker room with injuries.

But things picked up for the Saints in the second quarter. Brandin Cooks made a nifty 28-yard catch and run for a touchdown and Khiry Robinson matched that with his own sweet 21-yard catch and run. Meanwhile, the defense tightened up and held the Ravens to two field goals.

Some other bright spots: the play of Max Unger, Terron Armstead, and Marcus Murphy.
