Panthers' 2014 first round pick Kelvin Benjamin went down during Wednesday's practice. Benjamin was making a cut and planted his leg awkwardly, per Black & Blue Review.

Both teams gathered around Benjamin, as can be seen from the picture, and he showed no signs of flexing the leg. The injury was non-contact and Benjamin was eventually carted off the field, a combination that often points to an ACL injury.

As can be seen in the video above, Benjamin tried to plant his leg in the second half of a double move, but his leg locked up and he fell to the ground.
The Panthers will now likely have to rely on second round pick Devin Funchess, who is built similarly to Benjamin, to produce more than they may have originally intended. Benjamin had 73 catches for 1008 yards and 9 touchdowns in 2015. More when a diagnosis comes through.
