Saints News, 8/26/15: Former Basketball Player Chris Manhertz Impressed Saints in Workout

From Evan Woodbery at NOLA.com: A "pretty impressive" workout convinced the New Orleans Saints to give a longer look to tight end Chris Manhertz, a former college basketball player with only a few months of football experience. Saints coach Sean Payton praised Manhertz's size but said "obviously he has a lot of things to learn." "He's big and real athletic when you see his size and stature," Payton said.
