Saints vs. Texans Halftime Score and Recap: Saints Trail 13-6

After one half of football, the New Orleans Saints trail the Houston Texans 13-6. Drew Brees looked good in his lone series, while backup QB Luke McCown probably wishes the first half never happened. Returner Marcus Murphy was a bright spot.

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

Drew Brees got one series that led to the Saints' first points of the half. Luke McCown looked dreadful for the rest of the half, albeit probably due to the fact that he played behind the second-team offensive line. He was able to drive the team into Houston's territory late, which led to a Zach Hocker's 53-yard field goal.

Running back/returner Marcus Murphy has looked good once again, not only on punt returns, but running the ball as well.

This is now your second half open thread!
