The Saints are making several changes to their coaching staff. The team is adding Dan Campbell, Joe Lombardi and Aaron Glenn to the staff, as first reported by ESPN, which will plug a couple vacancies and bolster the team in other areas. Campbell, who finished the season as the Miami Dolphins’ interim head coach, received interest from several other teams, but felt he received the best offer from the Saints. After interviewing with New Orleans on Tuesday, he will become the Saints’ tight ends and assistant head coach. Lombardi, who previously served as the offensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions before being let go in October, will return to New Orleans as the quarterbacks coach. The position opened when Mike Neu left to become the head coach at Ball State. Aaron Glenn will serve as the secondary coach. He previously served in the same role on Mike Pettine’s staff in Cleveland. Pettine was relieved of his duties earlier this month.
