Saints News, 1/6/16: Drew Brees Doesn’t Need Foot Surgery

From Mike Triplett: Drew Brees flew to Charlotte, North Carolina, to have his foot injury evaluated by Dr. Robert Anderson, a source close to Brees told ESPN NFL Insider Ed Werder. Anderson recommended the Peyton Manning plan of 4-6 weeks of rest for the New Orleans Saints quarterback before easing into football and training activity. Brees will not need surgery for the foot -- or for the shoulder injury he suffered earlier in the season.
