Much of the focus stems around Cam Newton’s availability for Sunday, but all signs point to him being in according to The Charlotte Observer. Per the report, head coach Ron Rivera told ESPN sideline reporter Lisa Salters before Monday’s game that Newton participated in some football-specific drills during practice that day.
In turn, the Saints defense is preparing to face Newton, according to ESPN’s Ed Werder.
