New Orleans Saints kicker Wil Lutz has been named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week from Week 6. He’s the first Saints rookie kicker in franchise history to take down the honor.
Lutz missed a 53-yard attempt early in the second quarter, but made up for it making his next two attempts, including drilling the game-winning 52-yard field goal. Lutz also made all five of his point after tries.
“It felt smooth. I made it and that’s all that matters. The first thing that I did was celebrate with Thomas (Morstead) & Justin (Drescher),” Lutz said during post game locker interviews.

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. took down offensive honors, while Dallas Cowboys defensive end David Irving was the defensive player of the week.
Don’t forget that you have plenty of time to vote for Drew Brees as the FedEx Air Player of the Week. You can do that here.
