According to reports, several Saints were not seen by the media at the open portion of practice. That list included defensive tackle Nick Fairley, cornerback Sterling Moore, linebacker Dannell Ellerbe, offensive tackle Andrus Peat, and defensive end Paul Kruger. Both Moore and Peat left Sunday’s game against the Panthers with injuries.
It would appear as though Sheldon Rankins was a full participant of practice, which is a great sign. He told the media in a post practice interview that he was progressing well with no setbacks, and it was a good day.
