FedEx will make a $2,000 donation to the USO, a military support organization, in his name.
The Saints quarterback is off to a hot start this season, as he’s fourth in the league for passing yards (1,734), fifth in completions (150), tied for third in touchdown passes (14), and sixth in passer rating (103.1). Brees also has a league long of 98 yards, which happened when he connected with Brandin Cooks for a touchdown pass in Week 1. It was the longest passing play since 2011 (Eli Manning, Tom Brady).
Brees is a four-time winner of the Air Player of the Year, winning the title in 2006, 2008, 2009, and 2011.
