Saints’ Drew Brees nominated for Week 7’s FedEx Air Player of the Week

On Tuesday morning, the NFL recognized Week 7’s top air and ground performers of the week, and New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is on the list once again. Brees went 37-of-48 (77.1 percent) for 367 yards and 3 touchdowns en route to a 110.3 passer rating against the Kansas City Chiefs in a losing effort.

You can vote for Brees up until Thursday at 2 p.m. CT by visiting NFL.com/FedEx or by tweeting the hashtag #AirandGround and Brees to cast their vote. FedEx and the NFL will announce the winners every Thursday afternoon, and then FedEx will award a $2,000 donation in the winning players’ names to The USO.

Brees previously won the award in Week 6 for his performance against the Carolina Panthers, and it’s the third time he’s been nominated this season (Week 1 - Oakland). He’s up against Indianapolis’ Andrew Luck and Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers.
