Four Daily Fantasy Players From New Orleans Saints vs Seattle Seahawks

Three Saints and one Seahawk for daily fantasy.

If you're a daily fantasy player, I typically look at four players from the New Orleans Saints and their opponent’s rosters that I would target in daily fantasy (based off their value and potential results). Obviously, Saints QB Drew Brees is a safe QB for daily fantasy leagues, but spending your money on a top-tier starting QB leaves you scraping the barrel to fill out the rest of your roster.

So here are three Saints and one Seahawk that provide the most bang for your buck. (Values from Fanduel.)

K Will Lutz (NO) - $4,500

I will keep saying it until Lutz moves out of the bottom tiered-value of Kickers - Lutz provides incredible value for you to find high-caliber players elsewhere and has repeatedly shown he has incredibly leg strength to nail the long FGs. Surprisingly, Lutz is still valued this low even after an NFC Special Teams Player of the Week Award two weeks ago.

QB Drew Brees (NO) - $8,000

The Seahawks defense was just able to keep Carson Palmer and the Arizona Cardinals offense out of the endzone, but I like Drew’s chances of success. Coming in as only the 6th most expensive QB available, the Seahawks defense has dropped Drew’s price making him less of the overpay he normally is.

TE Coby Fleener (NO) - $5,700

Fleener’s price remains unchanged this week, even though he has finally looked to get on the same page with Drew Brees. I fully expect Seahawks QB Russell Wilson to force a TD throw to Jimmy Graham in his return to the Super Dome, but Fleener comes $1,000 cheaper than Jimmy and a full $2,400 cheaper than the most expensive Tight End available.

RB Christine Michael (SEA) - $7,800

Regardless of Jimmy Graham and Russell Wilson, the Seahawks are still a run-first team, even after the departure of “Beastmode” Marshawn Lynch. Christine Michael has been running strong this season, and even with the improved Saints run defense, Michael will still likely have a big game. At $900 cheaper than Cardinals RB David Johnson, Michael still provides decent value.

My full daily fantasy lineup this week:

QB Drew Brees (NO) $8,000

RB Christine Michael (SEA) $7,800

RB Matt Forte (NYJ) $7,300

WR AJ Green (CIN) $8,500

WR Jordy Nelson (GB) $7,500

WR Quincy Enunwa (NYJ) $6,100

TE Coby Fleener (NO) $5,700

K Will Lutz (NO) $4,500

DST Chiefs (vs IND) $4,500
