Four Daily Fantasy Players From New Orleans Saints vs Denver Broncos

Three Saints and one Bronco for daily fantasy.

If you're a daily fantasy player, I typically look at four players from the New Orleans Saints and their opponent’s rosters that I would target in daily fantasy (based off their value and potential results). Obviously, Saints QB Drew Brees is a safe QB for daily fantasy leagues, but spending your money on a top-tier starting QB leaves you scraping the barrel to fill out the rest of your roster.

So here are three Saints and one Bronco that provide the most bang for your buck. (Values from Fanduel.)

K Will Lutz (NO) - $4,500

Lutz missed a kick last week, but it was on the road, outside, on grass, and from 55-yards out. He’s still a very dependable kicker with a head coach in Sean Payton who trusts him on long kicks. He’ll be back home in the Dome this week, is one of the cheapest kickers available, and is one of the best offenses in the NFL.

RB Mark Ingram (NO) - $6,300

Mark Ingram had a great bounce-back game against the terrible 49ers run defense and should have regained the starting role in the Saints backfield. The Broncos are surprisingly vulnerable to the run, and after Tim Hightower’s struggles near the goal-line against Seattle, I expect Ingram ($3,100 cheaper than the most expensive RB) to have a good game.

WR Michael Thomas (NO) - $6,400

Michael Thomas is having an incredible rookie year - that can’t be said enough. He’s $2,600 cheaper than the most expensive WR available, but (more importantly) is $900 cheaper than Brandin Cooks. Cost doesn’t match reality so far, as it looks like Thomas is slowly becoming QB Drew Brees’s #1 target.

WR Emmanuel Sanders (NO) - $6,900

The Broncos aren’t getting consistent play out of their QB right now, but the Saints are still prone to giving up big plays. DeMaryius Thomas might be the best overall pass-catcher on the Broncos, but Sanders is still their speedster and deep threat.

My full daily fantasy lineup this week:

QB Carson Palmer (ARI) $7,900

RB Mark Ingram (NO) $6,300

RB David Johnson (ARI) $9,400

WR Emmanuel Sanders (DEN) $6,900

WR Michael Thomas (NO) $6,400

WR Jordy Nelson (GB) $7,700

TE Travis Kelce (KC) - $6,300

K Will Lutz (NO) $4,500

DST Rams (vs NYJ) $4,600
