This is the second time this season that Brees has won the award, and he’s been nominated more than a few times. The Saints MVP is currently 2nd in the NFL in passing yards (2,689), 2nd in touchdown passes (21), 3rd in passer rating (106.7), and is 1st in completions (242).
FedEx will make a $2,000 donation to the USO, a military support organization, in his name. Brees is a four-time winner of the Air Player of the Year, winning the title in 2006, 2008, 2009, and 2011.
