The NFL has flexed the Week 14 matchup between the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The original start time was set for the noon slate of games, but has been moved back to the 3:25 p.m. CT national time slot on FOX.
This NFC South road clash should generate a lot more interest should the Saints (5-6) beat the Detroit Lions and pull back to .500. The Bucs (6-5) travel out west to take on the San Diego Chargers in Week 13.
It’ll be the first of two meetings over a three-week span. The Saints have won 8 out of the past 9 matchups against the Buccaneers, but many of the contests have been decided by a single scoring possession. The team is also 14-8 on the road against Tampa Bay.
Sean Payton’s squad essentially looks to win out to keep their Wild Card hopes alive and potentially get a shot at the NFC South title against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 17.
