Improving to 5-6 is a big step for the New Orleans Saints, who find themselves up two spots from last week’s No. 11 spot in the NFC Playoff race entering Week 13. Despite a loss, Seattle clings to the second spot in the NFC behind Dallas. The Lions victory over the Vikings on Thanksgiving gave them sole control of the NFC North. In Week 13, the Saints have their hands full with the visiting Lions. The Buccaneers travel out west to take on the Chargers, the Panthers also travel out west to take on the Seahawks, and the Falcons host the Chiefs.
Other games of interest would be the Redskins at Cardinals, Cowboys at Vikings (Thursday Night Football), and Texans at Packers. So, if you want a simple rooting guide for Week 13, it’d be: Cowboys, Cardinals, Texans, Chargers, Chiefs, and Seahawks. Of course, the Saints must take care of their own business first.
