At one time, Stephone Anthony was thought to be a cornerstone of the New Orleans Saints defense moving forward. Then, not too long after that, he was given the ominous label of “1st round bust.” After not playing much to start the season, Anthony was slowly finding himself back on the defensive side of the ball. It is a disappointing end to a season that was only recently seeing Anthony start to get more playing time. With only two games left in the season and the Saints’ postseason hopes all but gone, Anthony can now focus on getting healthy and trying to earn a starting spot in next year’s linebacking corps.
