New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has it done it again, as he’s up for another FedEx Air Player of the Week award for his performance against the Arizona Cardinals. In the team’s 48-41 victory in Week 15, Brees went 37-of-48 (77 percent accuracy) for 389 yards and four touchdowns. It was good for a 127.9 passer rating, as Brees found Travaris Cadet, Brandin Cooks twice, and Michael Thomas.
Brees was last up for the award after the Saints thrashed the Rams in a 49-point effort, and has won the award several times in 2016. Atlanta’s Matt Ryan and Arizona’s Carson Palmer are also up for the weekly nomination.
As always, you can vote for Brees up until Thursday at 2 p.m. CT by visiting NFL.com/FedEx or by tweeting the hashtag #AirandGround and Brees to cast your vote.
FedEx and the NFL will announce the winners every Thursday afternoon, and then FedEx will award a $2,000 donation in the winning players’ names to The USO.
