2016 Pro Bowl rosters have been announced by the NFL, and there are no New Orleans Saints on the NFC squad.
That’s right. No Drew Brees, who had the tenth-most votes. No John Kuhn, who was leading the fan vote. No Max Unger or Cameron Jordan, who have been studs in Pro Football Focus grading. Not even a bat to Brandin Cooks, who is at No. 6 in the NFL in receiving yards.
You can view the whole rosters here.
Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida is the new venue for this year’s game, which happens on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017. The event will be televised live on ESPN, and returns to the traditional AFC vs. NFC format after three straight years of an unconferenced format.
Without question, you can see some changes down the road as many of the players ‘voted in’ will drop off due to injury or just not caring about playing what’s rapidly become known as a meaningless game. Still, we’re left in some shock.
