Saints News, 2/19/16: Judge Rejects Plea Deal in Sharper Rape Case

Darren Sharper was denied a plea deal that would have gotten him 9 years in prison on Thursday. The judge gave him until March 3 to withdraw his guilty plea. Sharper has plead guilty in 4 states: Louisiana, Nevada, California and Arizona for various counts of sexual assault, among other various charges. Sharper was already sentenced to 8 years in Arizona, and is now awaiting verdicts in the other 3 states.
