With the release of guard Jahri Evans, the Saints are likely looking to draft both for need and depth in this years draft. Sean Payton is often quoted as saying we need to commit to the run game. One outstanding talent available in this years draft is Sebastian Tretola of Arkansas. The starting guard for the Razorbacks anchored a power rushing game while protecting the QB. In fact he gave up no sacks in 2014.
Tretola flunked out at Nevada State by missing classes, before switching to Arkansas State in 2014. He was at Iowa Western Community College in 2013. Coming to Arkansas, Sebastian shed 50 pounds once joining the Razorbacks and worked hard to maintain his GPA. A power blocker he helped 2 separate backs have 1000 yard seasons in 2014 and paved the way for RB Alex Collins to have another 1000+ yard season in 2015. He has been effective at protecting his QB, only giving up 1/2 sack in 2015. That's a half a sack in 2 seasons.

Sebastian Tretola is projected to go in the 3rd round, and could be just what the Saints are looking for. A value pick in the 3rd, he would be a steal if he fell into the 4th round. Has the instincts to peel off one blocker and switch to extra defenders.
