The Saints have only just finished mandatory minicamp and training camp is still over a month away, but it looks like the running back corps is practically set in stone according to Larry Holder. Holder tweeted his observation Thursday on the final day of minicamp...
Pretty apparent the Saints RB rotation is Ingram, Hightower, Spiller at this point.

That leaves Marcus Murphy, Travaris Cadet, Daniel Lasco, and Sione Houma all on the outside looking in. Whether or not it stays that way once training camp starts is another story. But for the time being, this is what you can expect the backfield to look like.
The real question is whether this is Holder’s depth chart order, as Mike Florio seems to believe. Has Hightower really taken ownership of the No. 2 running back spot? And does C.J. Spiller still not have what it takes to rise up the ranks?
