NEW ORLEANS, La. (Canal St. Chronicles) -- Roman Harper is officially heading back to New Orleans.

The agency that represents Harper, SportsTrust Advisors, confirmed the move on Twitter earlier today.

There is still no word on the details of the contract.

NEW ORLEANS, La. (Canal St. Chronicles) -- The New Orleans Saints announced today they have re-signed safety Roman Harper.

Harper, 33, spent the 2015 season with Carolina. He last played for the Saints in 2013.

The 10-year veteran recorded 73 tackles last year along with 2 fumble recoveries and 5 pass deflections. He is also a 2-time Pro Bowl selection. Harper has 11 career interceptions.

Contract details have not been released at this time.
