According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, New Orleans Saints second-year linebacker Stephone Anthony should be back in action by Week 1.
Saints LB Stephone Anthony, who suffered leg injury last week, could miss couple weeks but "absolutely" expected back by opener, per source.

Anthony, who went down with a lower leg injury in Thursday’s preseason game against the Patriots, was able to get off the field under his own power. However, he was carted to the locker room afterwards. Head coach Sean Payton didn’t discuss the extent of his injury, but indicated that he would be back ‘sooner than later’. Anthony followed that up by tweeting out that he was ‘okay’.
It’s a good sign, as fans braced for the worst-case scenario. Anthony is projected as the team’s starting strong side (SAM) linebacker for 2016.
