If you're a daily fantasy player, I looked at four players from the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons rosters that I would target in daily fantasy (based off their value and potential results).
Here are four names to look at from the Saints vs Falcons Week 3 game that provide the most bang for your buck. (Values from Fanduel.)
QB Drew Brees - $9,000
I know this is cheating, but Drew isn’t actually the most expensive QB on the board this week. That honor goes to Panthers QB Cam Newton. Drew didn’t have his best game last week, but he still threw for almost 300 yards with 0 interceptions (and has yet to throw a pick this year). I expect Drew to have a monster game this week.
WR Willie Snead - $7,500
Someone has to be the beneficiary of Drew’s big game, and Willie Snead is gradually getting more and more expensive as the weeks go. He is proving to be an extremely reliable slot receiver, and in daily fantasy leagues that score PPR, he is still a great value, even if he costs a few hundred dollars more than last week.
TE Coby Fleener - $5,500
Fleener had his first redzone target last week, which is a good sign for all concerned parties. We’ve already touched on Fleener’s big game potential for next week, so the fact that he comes in a full $2,300 cheaper than the most expensive TE available makes Fleener a really nice option.
K Will Lutz - $4,500
I stand by value selection of Lutz. He’s shown he’s got the leg strength. The only question is if the protection holds up for his kicks and if his trajectory is high enough off the foot. His misses in each of the first two games have kept him among the cheapest Kickers available, so this is a nice value pick to find quality elsewhere.
