Welcome to Saints Gameday!
Tonight:
Atlanta Falcons (1-1) at New Orleans Saints (0-2)
The Saints host the Atlanta Falcons tonight in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in a game commemorating the 10 year anniversary of the historic Homecoming game of 2006. Beyond the hyperbole of the significance of tonight's game, there is the reality of the importance of this game for these 2016 Saints. The Saints need a win here badly, to fall to 0-3 would likely end any chances the Saints would have of reaching the postseason this year. This is a team that has fallen just short over the first two weeks, and getting a win in this spot could rejuvenate the team early on this season.
Any week is a great week to beat the Falcons, but this one should be sweeter than usual. Here's to another amazing Saints win over their rivals in the Superdome! Who Dat!
