Here we’ll look at five major NFL news outlets and their weekly Power Rankings to see where the New Orleans Saints stack up week-to-week. Here’s where ESPN, CBS, Yahoo, Bleacher Report and NFL.com rank the Saints after their Week 4 shutout against the Miami Dolphins.

ESPN - #22 (-2)

The Saints' chances of making the playoffs dipped to 5.1 percent after an 0-2 start, but two straight wins in which the defense allowed a combined 13 points has those chances back up to 36.4 percent. If the defense can continue to limit opponents, their chances of making the playoffs could improve.

CBS - #17 (+3)

They come off their bye with a tough one at home against the Lions. The defense seemed to improve in the last two games

Yahoo - #16 (+5)

The Saints have had some good recovery time after the London trip, and it should mean more things coming together for their young defense. Because of that development and Drew Brees, this team can't be forgotten to make things interesting in the NFC South.

Bleacher Report - #13 (+5)

NFL - #15 (+/-)

The Saints had a bye, and the break probably couldn't have come at a more annoying time. New Orleans was playing fast, particularly on the side of the ball that doesn't feature Drew Brees. What a momentum-killer for defensive coordinator Dennis Allen. His boys allowed a scant 13 points over the last two games combined. The Lions come to town this week. What kind of pride will Sean Payton's team show at home? The Saints didn't play well in their digs in Week 2. This should be a fun matchup.
