When the season began many envisioned the Saints with a three headed rushing attacked spearheaded by Mark Ingram, Adrian Peterson and Alvin Kamara. Some thought “All Day” would come back with his elite burst and speed that made him the future Hall of Famer.
When Peterson was traded to the Arizona Cardinals Ingram and Kamara took that as an opportunity to show that New Orleans didn’t need him at all. In the below film study we take a look at Ingram and Kamara’s success against the Detroit Lions. Not only did the runningbacks see more touches, but Terron Armstead saw his first playing time of the season.
If the Saints can continue their success, and keep their relative health, moving forward then the duo of Ingram and Kamara could run them right into the playoffs. Bryce Rossler of the Scouting Academy joins us against to review the duo’s performance against the Lions.
As always, thanks for watching. Who or what would you like to see a film study on next? God bless and Who Dat!
