Saints inactives: Hau’oli Kikaha sits for a second straight week

The Saints inactive list is here for Week 8, which has two defensive ends sitting against the Bears.

Week 8’s inactive list is out for the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears Sunday matchup. Here’s who is sitting:

  • QB Taysom Hill
  • RB Daniel Lasco
  • DE Hau’oli Kikaha
  • DE Al-Quadin Muhammad
  • C Cameron Tom
  • G Larry Warford
  • WR Austin Carr

Offensive guard Larry Warford (abdomen) was previously ruled out on Friday, and was the only player listed on the team’s final injury report. Wide receiver Michael Thomas (knee) and offensive tackle Terron Armstead (shoulder) were on the Saints injury report during the mid portion of the week, but were full participants during the final session.

The Saints will roll with five wide receivers, including Willie Snead. Not having an extra defensive end means defensive tackle Jerry Hughes will be in the lineup, and recently added guard John Greco will make his debut.

Kikaha sitting for a second straight week is quite interesting. Kickoff is less than 90 minutes away.
