We have three games in the late slots for Week 10, with one being the main draw. Here’s a look at your afternoon matchups:
- Houston Texans (3-5) at Los Angeles Rams (6-2)
- Dallas Cowboys (5-3) at Atlanta Falcons (4-4)
- New York Giants (1-7) at San Francisco 49ers (0-8)
Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will be in Atlanta to call the Cowboys-Falcons game, which won’t have Ezekiel Elliot and Tyron Smith playing. Rooting for Dallas has to be the lesser of two evils here. Matt Ryan and company have just won once out of the their last five games after starting the season 3-0.
No Deshaun Watson certainly takes the life out of the Texans, and they have the Rams on the road. Sean McVay’s team is impressing everyone, and there isn’t much there to suggest they’ll be upset by Tom Savage.
Meanwhile, no one really cares about the game out west between two of the league’s worst. The only reason to really tune into it is to see how little attendance there is in San Francisco. If Ben McAdoo manages to lose this one, then you’d have to think his time as Giants head coach is over. I mean, how can you not even answer a simple question on what you said to your players during halftime?
