After scoring the first New Orleans Saints touchdown, Mark Ingram got a little bit extra from the Buffalo Bills fans. Bills Mafia ended up giving Ingram a tasty beverage (a beer, if you will) while he jumped into the stands to pose for a picture.
A run-heavy first drive saw the Saints get 52 yards on the ground, going for a 9-play, 74-yard drive. Ingram had 4 carries for 43 yards to start the game, which also saw a 9-yard rush by Alvin Kamara. Ingram had runs of 14, 25, 3, and a yard (touchdown).
Drew Brees started the drive by hitting Michael Thomas on a 13-yard slant, which set the tone. The Saints had both Larry Warford and Terron Armstead start on the offensive line today after being on the injury report all week. They definitely helped establish some early ground success, and hopefully it helps carry the Saints to another victory.
