It’s good to be the New Orleans Saints right now. Just a week ago, it was Alvin Kamara taking down FedEx Ground Player of the Week honors for his performance over the Buccaneers. Now, his partner in crime Mark Ingram joins him, as he takes down the award for Week 10’s gashing of the Bills.
Ingram had 21 carries for 131 yards against Buffalo, scoring three touchdowns on the ground. His 6.2 yards per carry helped the Saints cruise to a 47-10 victory, as the team gained nearly 300 rushing yards. They also had 6 rushing touchdowns.
For the year, Ingram has 672 yards on 144 carries (4.7 average) with 7 touchdowns. He had his third 100-yard rushing performance of the season in Week 10, and also has 31 catches for 192 yards in 2017.
It’s also important to note that $2,000 will be given to The USO in Ingram’s name.
