It’s good to be a New Orleans Saints running back these days. Their talented backfield duo of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara have each won weekly NFL awards for their running performances against the Buffalo Bills.

Ingram has won a second award this week, as he’s the Castrol Edge Clutch Performer of Week 10 for his 131-yard, 3-touchdown day on the ground. He beat out Atlanta’s Adrian Clayborn, who had 6 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. One would guess maybe the Falcons didn’t vote. Ingram was also the FedEx Ground Player of the Week.

Meanwhile, Alvin Kamara has been announced as the Pepsi Rookie of the Week for the second straight week. It’s the third time he’s won the award this season (Week 4). He rushed for 12 times for 106 yards and a touchdown against the Bills, while adding 5 catches for 32 yards.

Saints rookies have now won Pepsi Rookie of the Week three times in a row, four out of the past five weeks, and five of the last seven.
