SB Nation’s Brett Kollman put out another New Orleans Saints video you should check out, so set aside 10 minutes to watch his latest episode of The Film Room, which is all about Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara and how they’re wreaking havoc on opposing defenses and helping Sean Payton’s team towards a Super Bowl. Kollman also put out that great video on Marshon Lattimore, so if you missed that, check it out here.
Currently, Ingram is 6th in the NFL with 672 rushing yards. His 4.7 yards per carry average is good for 9th in the league, and he’s tied for first overall with Dallas’ Ezekiel Elliott with 7 touchdowns - something tells me that’s going to change real quickly. Meanwhile, Kamara leads the NFL with a 6.5 yards per carry average, and his 417 rushing yards are good for 25th in the league. He’s also tied for 7th with 4 rushing touchdowns.
There’s obviously a lot of football to be played, but if the Saints rushing attack keeps going along with the play of the defense, then there’s little to suggest that New Orleans can't be in a prime position to make a postseason run.
