The first New Orleans Saints injury report is out for Week 12’s big NFC clash against the Los Angeles Rams. Wednesday saw cornerbacks Marshon Lattimore (ankle) and Ken Crawley (abdomen) not practice, while offensive tackle Terron Armstead (rest), linebacker A.J. Klein (ankle), and safety Kenny Vaccaro (groin) were limited participants.
Per The Advocate’s Joel Erickson, Lattimore and Armstead weren’t spotted during the open portion of practice, while Klein and Vaccaro returned. The expectation is that Vaccaro will play on Sunday, with him being held out the past two games as a precautionary measure.
It’s just the first injury report, but it would be hard to envision Lattimore playing this week unless he’s 100 percent. The Saints are in a prime position for a playoff spot, and with a host of NFC South divisional games down the stretch, Lattimore’s presence will arguably be worth more then.
We’ll see what happens over the next couple of days.
As for the Rams, they had 12 players listed on their first injury report.
