The British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli said, “There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics.” For the Saints defense this season they’ve been consistently, and almost criminally, underrated by analysts, beat writers and even national pundits.
Last week, a Bears beat writer went as far as to refer to them as a cake walk. Instead, the Saints defense led by Cameron Jordan, Marshon Lattimore, and Kenny Vaccaro had their cake and ate it too.
In the below film study, we review multiple drives by the Saints defense against the Chicago Bears, and focus on both good and bad plays. Spoiler: There is a lot of good tape.
As always, thanks for watching. What or who would you like to see a film study on next week? Who Dat and God Bless!
