New Orleans Saints rookie running back Alvin Kamara has won FedEx’s Ground Player of the Week for his impressive outing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 9.

Kamara gashed the Bucs defense for 152 total yards and two touchdowns through a combination of rushing and receiving on just 16 total touches, appearing in just 25 total snaps for the Saints offense. He wins over Adrian Peterson and Ezekiel Elliot.

Kamara is up to 311 rushing yards on 52 carries (6.0 yard average) and 341 receiving yards on 37 catches (9.2 yard average) with 5 total touchdowns. He also has 120 kick return yards on the year. He might not be getting the attention for the Rookie of the Year race with Kareem Hunt and Leonard Fournette in the equation, but increased solid play should only help him enter the conversation.

As a result of him winning, $2,000 will be given to The USO in Kamara’s name.
