According to multiple sources, Saints wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. (ribs) will be among the team's inactives when New Orleans takes the field against the New York Jets this afternoon. Ginn, who has 46 receptions for 678 yards and 3 touchdowns this season, injured his ribs late in the team's game against the Atlanta Falcons on December 7th.

The Saints may possibly activate wide receiver Austin Carr to take Ginn's spot on the active roster against the 19th ranked Jets pass defense. New Orleans will almost certainly need increased production from wideouts Willie Snead, Brandon Coleman, or Tommylee Lewis to compliment the presence of leading receivers Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara for the Saints 5th ranked passing attack.
