There’s four games on the NFL docket for late kickoffs in Week 16, with practically one contest being the focal point of the afternoon. Here’s a look at the matchups.
- Jacksonville Jaguars (10-4) at San Francisco 49ers (4-10)
- New York Giants (2-12) at Arizona Cardinals (6-8)
- Seattle Seahawks (8-6) at Dallas Cowboys (8-6)
- Pittsburgh Steelers (11-3) at Houston Texans (4-10)
The main draw is clearly the Seahawks and Cowboys, who are both looking to get into the postseason. However, one team will be going home. It’s just the 18th time these two meet, and the big storyline to keep an eye on is how Ezekiel Elliot performs against a Seahawks defense that got embarrassed by the Rams at home last week.
Meanwhile, the Steelers look to keep pace for a first round bye, and simply can’t overlook the Texans. The Jaguars are hoping Pittsburgh falls flat, and they look to stop the streaking 49ers, led by Jimmy Garoppolo.
